The program

The Kings County Republican Committee (Brooklyn GOP) may send text messages with campaign updates, event alerts, and volunteer opportunities — for example, canvassing and phone-bank signups, event reminders, and time-sensitive campaign news. Participation is optional, and you can opt out at any time.

How to join

You opt in by completing our signup form and checking the consent box. The box is never pre-checked — no subscription begins unless you check it yourself. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from the Kings County Republican Committee at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or engagement with the committee.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. We aim to be useful, not noisy — typically no more than about four messages per month, though volume may rise around elections and major events.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details; we are not responsible for any charges your carrier applies to messages delivered to your device.

Help and cancellation

Text HELP for help, or STOP to cancel, to the short code or number provided at signup — or use the unsubscribe link in any message. If you text STOP you will receive one final confirmation and no further program messages; to rejoin later, simply sign up again through the web form. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy and consent

SMS opt-in and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared. No mobile information will be shared by us with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared by us with any third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information generally.
