What is a district leader?
District leaders are the grassroots elected officials of New York's county parties: each Assembly District elects a male and a female district leader who sit on the county committee, judge primary candidates, and decide how the party organizes on your block. They are your most direct line into the party — and most Brooklyn residents have never been told who theirs are.
