Party Leadership

Liam McCabe

Chairman, Kings County Republican Committee

Liam McCabe is the Chairman of the Kings County Republican Committee, elected on September 25, 2025 on a unity slate backed by every Republican elected official representing parts of Brooklyn.

A Bay Ridge Republican operative, McCabe was the GOP candidate for City Council District 43 in 2017 and managed Brian Fox’s near-upset 2021 Council campaign. He was elected county chairman at a party gathering at the Bay Ridge Manor on September 25, 2025.

His elevation was announced in a joint “unity slate” statement signed by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, State Sen. Steve Chan, Assemblymembers Brook-Krasny, Chang, Tannousis and Novakhov, and Councilmembers Vernikov and David Carr — framing a unified party heading into the 2026 cycle.

“Being elected Chairman of the Brooklyn GOP is one of the greatest honors of my life… I will lead as a servant, putting the needs of our members above all else.”
— Brooklyn Reporter, September 27, 2025
